I just came back from my year studying in Japan. It was a great experience that I will never forget. One of the best things about studying abroad was that my Japanese improved so much. I could speak and understand the language much better after a year of living and studying there.
I also met a lot of interesting people from all over the world. It was great to learn about different cultures and make new friends. However, making friends was difficult at first. My Japanese wasn't very good at first. And eventually, I made some really good friends.
Living alone was also a challenge, but it taught me how to be independent and take care of myself. I learned how to cook, clean, and do my laundry. I got a lot of help from my teachers and classmates during my time in Japan. They showed me around the city and introduced me to their friends. I had an amazing time in Japan.
If you are thinking about studying abroad, I encourage you to do it.
