- revise and practise the vocabulary relating to prepositions of time: on, in, at

- ask and answer about the places using the correct prepositions

- use correct prepositions of time in provided sentences

- improve Ss’ communication, collaboration, analytical, and critical thinking skills

- enhance Ss’ patriotism and punctuality

- be aware of the positions of places around them as well as the time and days that go with the appropriate prepositions

• Warm-up: (5’)
• a) Objective: To introduce the new lesson and set the scene for Ss to acquire new language; get students' attention at the beginning of the class with enjoyable and short activities and engage them in the follow-up steps.
• b) Content: Asking Ss to describe their neighbourhood.
• c) Expected outcomes: Ss can give some information about their neighbourhood.
• d) Organisation of the activity:

c. Expected outcomes: Ss can remember the words related to prepositions of place and use them to ask and answer about the places in a given picture.

Fill in each gap with the correct preposition. - Read out the words and explain any words Ss are unsure of. - Ask Ss to repeat the words chorally and/or individually. - Check Ss’ pronunciation. - Explain the task and ask Ss to look at the picture and read the sentences. - Give Ss time to complete the sentences. - Check Ss’ answers. 5b.
