GRAMMAR
Khi muốn dùng một động từ chỉ hành động ở sau động từ chỉ sự yêu thích, ta sử dụng danh động từ (V-ing) hoặc động từ nguyên thể có "to" (to V).
I. VERB + V-ING / TO V
Những động từ đi với cả danh động từ (V-ing) và động từ nguyên thể có "to" mà không thay đổi về nghĩa.
II. VERB + V-ING
Những động từ chỉ đi với danh động từ. (Tức là động từ thêm -ing: V-ing)
PRONOUNCIATION
I. Nguyên âm /ʊ/
1. Cách phát âm
Bước 1: Đưa môi ra phía trước, cơ miệng thả lỏng.
Bước 2: Nâng cuống lưỡi lên và hạ đầu lưỡi xuống.
Bước 3: Phát âm âm /ʊ/ thật gọn, lưỡi giữ nguyên vị trí.
E.g: sugar: /ˈʃʊɡər/ đường
woman: /ˈwʊmən/ phụ nữ
cooker: /ˈkʊkər/ nồi cơm điện
cushion: /ˈkʊʃn/ cái đệm
butcher: /ˈbʊtʃər/ người bán thịt

1. Cách phát âm
Bước 1: Đưa môi ra phía trước để tạo khẩu hình miệng hình chữ o. Miệng hơi căng ra một chút.
Bước 2: Nâng cuống lưỡi lên và hạ đầu lưỡi xuống.
Bước 3: Phát âm âm /u:/
E.g: shoe /ʃuː/: giày
blue /bluː/: màu xanh lá cây
pool /puːl/: cái ao
food /fuːd/: thực phẩm, đồ ăn
glue /gluː/: keo dính
Chú ý: Âm /u:/ được phát âm dài hơn âm /ʊ/. Hơn nữa, miệng hoàn toàn thả lỏng khi phát âm âm /ʊ/, còn đối với âm /u:/, miệng hơi căng một chút
