Hi! I’m Monica and I’m 12 years old. I live in the capital of England, London and I love this city. Life in London is very fast-paced here because this is a busy town. There are many places to visit and many things to do here so I never get bored. Next to my house is a cinema, which I visit on Saturday evenings every weekend with my friends. Bus station and train station are also near my house, so I can easily travel to school. There are also a lot of restaurants and café, so you’ll never be hungry here. I really like shopping, so I often buy clothes in very big shopping malls.
Living in a big city also has a few drawbacks. There are a lot of people living here, so the streets are always crowded, especially in the subway. There are a lot of traffic jams and the air is very polluted because of car fumes. Moreover, the cost of living here is so high! The food and the clothes are quite expensive. In spite of all these disadvantages, I still enjoy living in London!
