2. Câu ghép
Câu ghép là loại câu gồm hai hoặc nhiều mệnh đề độc lập, nối với nhau bằng liên từ kết hợp như and (và), but (nhưng), nor (cũng không), yet (nhưng), so (vì vậy), hoặc liên từ tương quan như not only … but also (không những … mà còn), hoặc một trạng từ liên kết như as a result (kết quả là), moreover (hơn thế nữa), in fact (thực tế là), on the other hand (mặt khác).
Ex: He had an excellent performance at the interview, so he was offered the job. Being a teacher is a demanding job; moreover, you don’t earn a high salary.
